Who We Are

How We Do It

Whether you already embrace technology in your facility or are just looking to start, knowing what hardware and software best suits your requirements is a minefield. With so many systems and variants available, it is little wonder that such a large percentage of businesses stall at the first hurdle.

We work with businesses to ensure that, not only their existing processes and systems are fit for purpose, but we can also support you in choosing new systems to either replace, or work in conjunction with your existing equipment and software.

Our Methodology

Our Methodology

Our approach to maintenance issues is based on understanding what the clients’ and users’ requirements are and how the day to day activities are managed.  Changes to these day-to-day methods would only be made if there was a good reason to do so (e.g. to improve reliability and efficiency, reduce documentation /paperwork, streamline processes, eliminate nonvalue add steps etc.).

By following seven simple steps, we can guide you through the minefield to ensure you get the most out of your people, equipment and technology, to help you reduce costs and increase reliability in your facility.

Seven Steps to Success

Seven Steps to Success

We work with selected client staff to understand their requirements, with respect to their current maintenance, productivity and/or reliability issues/software requirements. These face to face meetings can be completed on-site or remotely, as a desk-top exercise, supported by conference calls.

The seven steps we follow to improve your business are:

  1. Use of User Requirements Specification (URS) as the basis for the initial evaluations. The URS is a planning document that specifies what the equipment, system or software needs to do. It is written from the point of view of the end user and is not always technical or complicated.

  2. Using additional assessments and conference call inputs, we can modify the URS as required to formulate a bespoke set of requirements.

  3. Identify appropriate solutions and suppliers that can meet the needs of the clients’ URS.

  4. Guidance from the client will be sought with respect to the solutions and suppliers identified.

  5. Apply our evaluation tool, incorporating a scoring system to assess and score the above.

  6. Provide a detailed report of recommendations to client.

  7. Manage demonstrations and workshops/meetings to choose preferred supplier.

We can also provide assistance in the implementation and data uploading, if required.

Independent Advice

Independent Advice

We have a demonstrable track record of selecting and implementing new business processes, technology and maintenance software packages for many well-known clients. Being independent, we have no vested interest in which system is chosen, therefore the focus is on determining the package that best meets our clients’ needs.
